The Jawoyn people had few possessions. A man had a handful of spears, a spear thrower, a cutting tool and an axe; a woman had her dilly bags, a cutting tool and a digging stick. The most important possession a person could obtain was the knowledge that had been accumulated over thousands of years and handed down through the generations - the biological and geographical knowledge of their land.

I Jawoyn possedevano poche proprietà.
